One of the most requested topics in my DMs has been to review my Mansur Gavriel Everyday Cabas tote. Spoiler alert: it's been my most worn handbag in the last two months, and has only gotten better with wear.

A Little Backstory

Designer handbags have always been my thing. When I started making money at a young age, it was one of the first items I saved for. I've had a long history of buying, selling, and collecting. With designer handbag prices these days, I started looking into the midrange assortment out there.

After ordering and returning The Row NS Tote, I ended up with this beauty. I actually really liked The Row tote, but I couldn't justify what I saw for the bag's price. The leather was gorgeous, but not better than this one at a fraction of the cost.

Bag Details

I've had the Cabas tote for about a month now, and it's all I've been reaching for. The more I wear it, the better it looks. The design is soft and slouchy, so if you're looking for a structured bottom or look, this isn't it.

Size: The size is perfect. It fits everything that I need, except my 15″ laptop. When I travel into the city for the day, it holds all my essentials and fits comfortably under my arm. The 10.25″ handle drop also works well with a winter coat.

Color: The color pictured here is the biscotto, a beige with the slightest pink undertone. I love that about it and find it quite pleasing to the eye.

Quality: The bag is made in Italy and the leather is gorgeous. There's a magnetic closure, but since it's a deeper bag, everything falls to the bottom. I keep my smaller things organized in a pouch or two.

Styling: It's incredibly easy to style. It works just as well with jeans and a dressier boot as it does with leggings and a more casual look.

The Bottom Line

I love this bag more than I thought I would. It would make for the perfect everyday, work, or mom bag. It's available in several gorgeous colors and at many retailers. Whether you choose the black, avorio, or seasonal colors, you can't go wrong with this investment piece.
