My Current Skincare Routine
April 2024

I get asked about my skincare routine constantly, so I'm sharing exactly what I'm using right now! Keep in mind that routines evolve - what works for me might not work for everyone, and my routine changes with the seasons and my skin's needs.
Morning Routine
Step 1: Cleanse
Biologique Recherche Lait U - This is a gentle cleansing milk that removes impurities without stripping my skin. I massage it in with damp hands and rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 2: Tone
Biologique Recherche P50 1970 - The cult favorite! Yes, it smells terrible, but my skin has never looked better. It gently exfoliates and balances pH. I apply with a cotton pad, avoiding my eye area.
Step 3: Serum
SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic - The gold standard vitamin C serum. It protects against environmental damage and brightens my complexion. A few drops patted into skin is all you need.
Step 4: Eye Cream
Augustinus Bader The Eye Cream - Pricey but effective. It hydrates and helps with fine lines. I pat it on with my ring finger using gentle tapping motions.
Step 5: Moisturize
Elta MD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - This is my moisturizer and sunscreen in one. It's lightweight, doesn't pill under makeup, and has niacinamide for extra benefits.
Evening Routine
Step 1: First Cleanse
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm - This melts away all my makeup and sunscreen. I massage it into dry skin, then rinse with warm water.
Step 2: Second Cleanse
Biologique Recherche Lait U - Same cleanser as morning to ensure my skin is completely clean.
Step 3: Tone
Biologique Recherche P50 1970 - Again! Consistency is key with this product.
Step 4: Treatment (3x per week)
SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.5 - I use this on non-consecutive nights. Retinol is the gold standard for anti-aging and skin texture. I started with 0.3 and worked up to 0.5.
Step 5: Serum (on non-retinol nights)
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - Pure hydration. I pat this on while my skin is still damp from toning.
Step 6: Eye Cream
Biologique Recherche Crème Contour des Yeux VIP O2 - A richer eye cream for nighttime that helps with dark circles and puffiness.
Step 7: Moisturize
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream - My holy grail night cream. It's expensive but lasts forever and my skin looks incredible in the morning.
Step 8: Oil (optional)
On extra dry nights, I'll add a few drops of Biologique Recherche Huile Dermo-Apaisante on top of my moisturizer for an extra layer of nourishment.
Weekly Treatments
Face Masks (2-3x per week)
Biologique Recherche Masque Vivant - My all-time favorite mask. It purifies, tightens pores, and evens skin tone. Yes, it smells awful, but it works!
LED Therapy (5x per week)
The Light Salon Boost LED Mask - 10 minutes a day for clear, glowing skin. This has been a game-changer for my complexion.
General Tips
- I always apply products to my neck and décolletage, not just my face
- I wait about 30 seconds between each step to let products absorb
- I change my pillowcase 2-3 times per week
- I drink tons of water and avoid excessive alcohol
- I see my esthetician for professional facials every 4-6 weeks
Remember, what works for me might not work for you! It's taken years to figure out what my skin loves. Start simple and add products slowly so you can tell what's actually making a difference.
