Best Rooftop Bars in Brooklyn and New York City

Summer calls for rooftop drinks! There's nothing quite like sipping a cocktail while taking in the stunning views of the NYC skyline. Here are my absolute favorite rooftop bars across Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Brooklyn Favorites
Westlight at the William Vale
Hands down one of the best views in Brooklyn. The 22nd floor rooftop offers 360-degree views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The cocktails are creative and the ambiance is perfect for a special night out.
The Ides at the Wythe Hotel
A Williamsburg staple with incredible Manhattan skyline views. It can get crowded on weekends, but it's worth it for the vibe and the drinks. Pro tip: Go for sunset!
Elsewhere Rooftop
More casual and laid-back, Elsewhere's rooftop has a fun, party atmosphere. Great for groups and dancing under the stars.
Manhattan Must-Visits
230 Fifth Rooftop Bar
One of the largest rooftop bars in NYC with unobstructed views of the Empire State Building. They have heated igloos in winter which is such a fun experience!
The Press Lounge
Located in Hell's Kitchen, this sophisticated spot offers stunning Hudson River views. It's a bit more upscale, perfect for a date night.
Azul on the Rooftop at Hotel Hugo
A Soho gem with beautiful downtown views. The Mediterranean-inspired menu pairs perfectly with their craft cocktails.
Magic Hour at Moxy Times Square
If you want something fun and Instagram-worthy, this is it. It has a carnival theme with games, putt-putt golf, and incredible Times Square views.
